Car Model:
I have an inline brass heater valve/tap that I want to fit. The valve is is opened and closed by moving an inner brass tube in or out of a slightly larger brass tube.

The heater valve is located in the hot water line that goes to the heater core and I think movement of the inner tube is controlled by attaching a hand operated cable to the circlip which is attached to the inner brass tube.

I think this heater valve setup was used on some cars in the 60's and 70's. I want to use it because it is brass.

I would appreciate any info on the correct way to install and operate this heater valve.
