Just wondered if anyone was planning on attending the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio this weekend (August 12-14) at National Trail Raceway. Lots of drag racing and at one time they had a slant six class. A huge swap meet and car show. Lots of fun at the local cruise sights such as Brice Road. If the good Lords willing and the creek don't rise I'll be there with my '66 Dart 270 4 door (in primer).
Hope to see you there!
Todd

I will be there starting Thursday night and through Sunday.

Was going to take my 68 Dart 270, but busted another flex plate. Something wrong with the trans/engine alignment...

Decided to take my still-dented 64 Dart 270 and run it down the strip. Should be a fun trip!

Meril Bruner from Maynardville, TN will also be there.

Lou

I had a good time talking with Lou, Slant Cecil, Jim Cox and Mr. slant six Australia.(SORRY, I FORGOT HIS NAME)

anyway, It was nice to chat. I picked up a bunch of trans parts and some engine parts - Cox Bros had a nice set of roller rockers on display - Maybe I buy some when I get the bellhousing straigntned out.

Greg

Greg, I have a set of the Cox rockers. They are top notch and seem to have the oiling problems from the earlier sets worked out.

Dang, Slant Cecil was there and I missed him? Nuts...

Cameron Tilley is the Aussie bloke.

We had a great time too. My '64 went 14.56@94.8 at 3:30pm on Sat (96F and humid) and needs more EFI tuning... Still 24MPG on the way home.

Lou

Sorry I missed you guys-I didn't take my Dart due to cooling issues so I ended up taking our old family wagon ( a'96 Chrysler Concorde) and I had to cut my time short due to work related problems. Anyways....I hope to stay longer next year!
