I talked to John Moran the other day and confirmed the date for our annual event. John said the event will be on Sept 28th and will be held at the same location as last year.......Redwood City @ Seaport Ct. launch area. 8) V-8 cars are welcome! It starts at 10:00AM......bring a picnic lunch......see you there! :D

Save the last Sunday in September every year to see the greatest Slant 6 show on earth. Take the Woodside Rd/Seaport Blvd exit off Hwy 101.

Learn new tricks, Make new friends, sell & buy parts, Slant 6 Racers will be there. Expect to see 50 - 60 Slant 6 cars. Small block V8's also.

I'm driving 200 miles to be there.

I went the year before last and had a great time. I'm really looking forward to it this year! I need witnesses to the "before". It will make the "after" all the more eventful.

Hi All,

Looking forward to Sunday. I think it's time to add something....something like....well....how about M&Ms and waters and coffee?? Trudenka, Myself, and my brother Stan will park as close as we can to John Moran and bring some treats. I went to a swap meet a few years ago and Steve Nelson (Salt Racer) and his wife gave out waters and hotdogs throughout the day....very cool. Being so close to Halloween I think M&Ms will work. See you there!

Last year, I hitched a ride from Shasta County w/ Scott S., Mark Murray, & Roy Murray. We all loaded up in Scott's '68 Signet V and made the trip to the Bay.

Scott sold a carb & picked up several '68 V grill pieces. I purchased a pentastar patch and snapped photos of cars all day.

If you're able to attend, do it. You won't be dissapointed.

By the way, can some one bring an extra wiper switch for my 1965 Dodge Dart GT, I'll be very happy to buy it from you guys at the Show in redwood city port.

Thanks.

Is your wiper system a "2 speed"( clicks to high & low) or a variable speed? ( clicks on then "sweeps")
Basically... there are 2 different switches.

Invite the slant cars to come to Redding next weekend Oct 4-5 . It is only 25 dollars a day to race . track final with BBQ and track is supplying all the meet and beer. Bring out those slants. Last year Sergio won KING OF THE TRACK with 18 second slant . From stock to 11 sec. come and RACE.

Doctor Dodge the Switch conector under the dash is a black plastic plug with 3 female prong conectors and there is a separated wire with a black plastic conetctor that conects to an additional conector at the switch, I'm very sure that I have a 2 speed acording to the conector.

The existing wire conector is plastic and looks just like the one attached to the Headlamps with three wire conctor.

thanks.

Just got back from the meet. Had a great time!

I was there with my 68 Charger, my brother in his 62 valiant.

My face is the reddest it's been in a long time, should've worn my hat!

The M&Ms were much appreciated. John's valiant is gorgeous.

Met a bunch of great folks. Koa, Doug, and everyone else, it was great to see everyone. I'm tired just from asking Doug questions. Thankfully he has great patience.

Looking forward to next year.

Yes... another great turn-out at this year's Bay Area SL6 Club car show.
I think 45 cars signed-in and I saw a lot of "old friends" I had not see in years...
(where have you guys been???)

Anyway, thanks goes out to John Moran for keeping this great show going.

Is this near the Seaport Village Shopping Center, Seaport Conference Center or up a little farther?
