I highly doubt it. I told him roughly when it would be and to keep an eye out on here. But I have not seen him on the site in a good while.

Weather outlook does not look good for travel through mountains to the banquet.

I hope it improves :-)

Greg, we are currently under an ice storm advisory thru Wed. with a 1/4" already in some areas near me. Power outages and all the problems associated with that are the main issues for now. Most areas north of me all the way to Knoxville are in worst shape because they are a higher elevation. I wouldn't get your hopes up that it will be cleared up by the weekend.

I tend to just do my business and not plan my life based on the weather. Usually it works out fine. If I am travelling >8 hrs like Greg, then maybe I think harder about it.

6" on the ground here and still falling. I am about to walk back to work after coming home briefly to fix the loose/corroded batt terminal on Christine's Saturn - oops.

Hope to see you all at the banquet. Barring extreme ice/snow here, I will leave Blacksburg around 4 PM Friday afternoon for Pigeon Forge.

Lou

I m hanging loose, and watching the weather. My truck is horrible in the snow. I would need to leave Thursday morning, so I will make a decision Wed night.

Thats usually what I do as well. But interstates through the west Virginia mountains with snow and ice are a bit different

Yep, we had a ball. The weather was quite unusual and it should be better next year! We had 14-15 racers plus families show up, so about 35 people.

Cheers,

Lou
