It's almost time for Bristol Aug 28 and 29
It's quarter mile and there are other races that you can do as well.
I don't know the prices yet but I will find out.
I will be there bright eyed and bushy tailed. :D [/i][/b]

Ok this is what I have found out so far.
Fri gates open at 10:00 am and test and tune is from noon to 6:00 pm no time trials after 6:00 PM. I have a call in to Bristol to verify but that is what is going on right now. I don't know when we are going to race on Friday if it is before the gambler's race or after.
test and tune is $20.00 and the entry fee is $25.00 on Friday and 75% goes to the winner and 25% goes to the runner up. On Saturday the entry fee is $25.00 and two time trials gates open at 8:00 am and the time trials start at 9:00 am. The winner gets 75% and the Runner up gets 25% on Saturday as well. There will be a couple of door prizes given from Autozone and Oreilly's. I hope to have a big crowd and as Lou states "Slant on"

I just got off the phone with brian and he has emailed Bristol to find out about Friday's race and he said that they worked it out last year with the race and that he is still trying to get the two time trials for Friday so you don't have to do the test and tune, however that is not confirmed yet. I am going to pay for the test and tune just in case.

The track has informed me they will "do their best" to give us 2 time runs before eliminations on Friday night. Make sure they give you a tech card when you go in the gate for Friday night (and Sat. if paying for the weekend). The race Friday night will be at about the same time as the Gamblers race. You can also pay for T'N'T if you want to on Friday. I told them that there were some racers that would not be able to arrive until the evening on Friday in order to allow us time runs before eliminations.

We will be having an important drivers meeting on Saturday after the ladder is drawn to discuss a few things, please plan on attending.

Brian

Is that Jack Jr. (Dad)...

Or Jack III (Son)...?

It will take a little time to post results in the Championship thread. We lost the update from the last race at Woodburn, so I have to do a little reconstructing to get us back on track again.
