Thanks Brian and Jack for your hard work putting on a great Bristol race, also thanks to Red and his staff for making us feel welcome. We had hot weather but pitting under the shade trees by the creek was awesome! All these things plus a good car count makes Bristol look promising for the future.

I want to thank Brian, Jack, Jack Jr., Red, and everyone involved
In putting on a great slant 6 race weekend. Also thanks to Ron, Jack, and Jr for helping me with Nss switch I would have never figured this out without your help. Also thanks to the ladies and Brian for the good lunch. This was like the races use to be at Bristol with good turnout so. Hope to see everyone in Knoxville next month if I get the dreaded leak fixed on the tranny.Norm

Charrlie we had 12 cars on Friday and 10 on Saturday. The most we have had in Bristol for a while.

Thanks to all the racers that showed up for Bristol!

We had a new first time racer come out (Timmy Charapich), and he did very well! Hope to see him at some more events in the future!

Even though it was hot, we probably had the best possible pit area at the track. The shaded area we had was a life saver!

As previously stated, we had 12 cars for Saturday and 10 cars for Sunday. Also, we had 3 (yes three) father/son race teams! Jack II/Jack III, Rick/Ryan, and Mark/Timmy! It is really neat to see the slanted tradition being handed down in the family.

The race organizer Red Whitmore told me personally that he wants us back next year! He and his staff worked nicely with us, and made us feel welcome.

I would also like to thank Gary Bruner for lending me his 64 Valiant. It is really special to be a part of a group that is so friendly, yet competitive, with each other. I witnessed this weekend several instances where competitors helped each other out fixing car issues. This is what makes the slanted family so unique.

Brian

We all made it home this evening about 5:30 without any problems. Patti and I had a great time. We made some more memories with our Slanted family, and our kids and grandkids. It don't get much better than that!

Thanks again to everyone!

Rick

Wow, great show everyone! Congrats on the nice turnout and Ron and Rodney on the wins. This sounds like a better date and event for us.

Slant on,

Lou
