Ryan just texted me and said they are just now starting the 1st round of eliminations!(8:00PM EST) He said there are lots of cars at the track, but only 9 Slant 6 cars showed up. He said they have been running cars since 11:00 am and have had lots of breakage! I'll update results as soon as I hear something! |

Ryan texted me and said he left before the final last night, but Rodney Hargis and Steve Adams were in the final. |

Saturday winner was Rodney Hargis. Sunday - Ryan said that Gary Bruner was running Rodney next and the winner will face Rusty in the final. Only 6 cars today. |

With Clay City in the record books, Rodney had a great weekend and we all had a good time. Boy was it hot, and I have never seen so many mopars in one place. It was supposed to be Mopars vs. the world but I don't remember any brand x cars. They had huge amount of big name pro stock cars, nostalgia pro stockers, max wedges, and king of the street cars. Oil downs galore and racing until 2:30 am on Sat morning and 4:30 am on Sunday morning, then all day Sunday. I'm still recuperating from the long drive, long hours and the heat. We had no slant six breakage, 9 cars Saturday and 6 on Sunday. Thanks to Barbara Bruner and Kay for keeping everyone fed with some great food. We had plenty of time for bench racing with as much as 2 hrs between rounds. Here are the results. I think the semi finals are missing from Saturday. We went from Rodney, Ryan, and Steve having won to just Rodney and Steve racing for the final round |
