We always do a random ladder, got it.

This year at Clay City we may have a couple folks that would want to run a "Grudge Match" or at least challenge each other (Call Outs).

I will be working with the track soon to iron some things out. I don't want to start asking for too much. They are great to us, but I don't want to be a nuisance.

Should we let those racers challenge each other as we set up the ladder at the beginning - with the rest of the field decided by random draw?

Or

Should we have those racers that may want to challenge each other do so during their time trials?

Yes, I will ask the track folks about letting us run a couple Grudge Match type races in and around the other programs going on... Did I mention I don't want to be a nuisance...?

I don't see why "grudge" runs, can't take place during time shots. Those pairs of cars, just line up together. Track really does not need to get involved. They are going to have enough to do.

Random ladder is for everyone. No grudge match then. Do whatever you want during time runs.

I agree with Charrlie.

Get the race and ladders right. Grudge on tnt or time trial runs.

Agreed. As the day (or days) goes/go on, we might ask them to squeeze in a grudge match after or during eliminations, if they have time.
