Due to Rob and Dennis not being able to attend on April 14th the race has been moved to May 12th. Weather was also a contributing factor. Mark |

Let’s see... Running Slant 6 car...? Challenger... Nope. Duster..........Nope. Valiant.........Sort of, but it may have a rod knock, needs valves adjusted badly, carb tuned, and the brakes and steering are really scary... so,... Nope. Lemons Valiant.... Nope neither...  My Poser status is almost as secure as Cookie’s... almost. Now,... ain’t none of that to say I couldn’t git sumthin’ ready fer MoKan though...

One 1/4 mile slant 6 race on Saturday May 12th with gates opening at 10:00. If the car count is up for the MoPars Invade Mo-Kan this year the track may keep the May date for next year. Mark |

The weather looks like it should be great for the 12th. This could be the biggest slant 6 race at the Kan with some new guys coming to the one of the oldest 1/4 mile drag strips in Missouri. Mark |

May 11th will be Friday night fun drags or test and tune for us old timers. Rusty will be there with the Lancer to see if it will go down the track. Mark |

Good test & tune tonight. We have 6 cars here tonight with more coming tomorrow. Steve Nitti and Denny Baierl are here with the Duster running low 11’s. The Lancer running similar. Joel Harris’ Valiant is in the high 15’s. Laney Heisten’s 63 Dart is in the mid 14’s. The Duster ran very consistent 14.12 and 14.13. More tomorrow.
