Could one of the topics at the banquet be the approval of the Mo-Kan Slant 6 Springnationals April 4th, 2020?
This year could be the largest Springnationals for the history of the event. Much talk from faraway racers.
If approved, I will post the host hotel and more information.

Thanks for the consideration of making this a points race.

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the request and heads up. We will absolutely discuss this, and I'm pretty sure it'll be approved!

Best wishes,

Lou

Glad to hear Commodore Schmid is on the way. Stay safe.

Greg Ondayko got to my place at 10 PM last night and we had a nice little "pre-banquet" Slant session... We'll see you this afternoon.

The 62 Valiant is loaded with parts and fuel and I plan to hit the road around 1 PM.

Lou

Great first evening of the banquet weekend!

About 25 of us gathered at Valley Forge Inn in "the big room" and at Bennett's BBQ down the street. Several more people coming today.

LOTS of parts swapping going on, in the room and in the parking lot. The 62 Valiant ran like a softly ticking 240HP sewing machine on the way from VA to TN, full of parts to distribute.

Hi from Pigeon Forge! A colorful comment from Seymour has not dubbed this even the "Slant 6 Pigeon Forgy"...

Lou

I got back from Pigeon Forge about 7PM Sunday. Many thanks to all those who put this meeting together and made the effort to gather as many slant 6 supporters as possible. In addition to most of the active racers and families there were guest appearances by Meril and Ella Bruner, Jim and Faith Cox, Kay Hamby, Norm and Elaine Foster (Norm sold his car again), the gang from Gill Welding exhibiting their intake manifolds, Ron and Judy Parker, Diane Hargis, and Kent Nichols. I hope I didn't leave anybody out, John Cox was believed to be on his way but I don't know if he arrived or not. It was sight for sore eyes to see all these people again and I think it shows that the connections that were made while indulging in our hobby are strong and lasting.

I got home about an hour ago. Safe, sound, and tired. Had a great time, and got a really fine birthday present. I thank everyone for the award. I am honored.

Made it safely home. It was great to be able to put faces to the names I've seen on this board and elsewhere. Big thanks to Charlie and Ken for the parts to get my project back on track!

No, I was the crazy one who decided to go swimming at 9 PM on Saturday, but I'm not sure where the snowman came from. Can't remember if it was there when I stopped.
