Well the time is upon us and I hope some of you are planning to try and make it out to race this year. Mason Dixon is just around the corner and this will be the start of our roll call. We all need to do what we can to try and support our race series. Last year was a tough tough year for lots of reasons. Let's try and make 2021 great. Please let me know if you are coming. 2 Weeks to the Mason Dixon Race! I have an email into the track just to verify nothing has changed from years past. Saturday there will be a T&T and a gamblers race. Sunday is the Annual All Mopar event. More to follow! |

Just one week away! I spoke to Elmer and this years entry at the gate for the Slant 6 races is still $15. Then I will collect the $20 for the purse inside. Next year the tech card/entry will go to $25. Not bad since it has never changed in 12 years. So just tell them you are racing Slant 6 at the gate and come on in and look for us in the middle of the pits somewhere. Go to the web site and fill out the Covid waiver and the Race waiver on the home page. There are also forms for the Test and tune Saturday ($60) and the Mopar event Sunday($45), but I don't think we need to fill those out because we are racing our own race. If you want to run Test & Tune or another class on Sunday then fill out that form also and tell them that at the gate. They normally run a free gamblers race for the Test & Tune days. $1000 to win if there are 100 cars. http://www.masondixondragway.com/ Patti and I will provide some food and drink for each day. Hot dogs, sausage, chips, snacks...etc Guarantee $250 to win each day!!

I forgot, the gates open at 10:30 Saturday and 8:30 on Sunday. They have racing starting at 11:00 Saturday (It is listed at 11:30 on their web site also so I'm not sure which.) And 11:30 Sunday. See you all soon! |

All loaded and ready to go! Plan to win both days. I also planned to win the other 36 races I entered. Failure rate is pretty high! Come on out and have a great time, meet some nice folks, and have some free food. I plan to get there Saturday about 10:00 and get set up. See ya all tomorrow! |
