Are any of you interested in doing another Fall race at Mason Dixon? This would be just a fun race, with no points. Probably just for one day (Saturday) but anyone could stay and race on Sunday if they wish. I am going racing some more over the summer and Fall even if I have to go by myself. I am leaning towards a late September, early October time frame. Could be fun Let me know!

Jeff Kendall had spoken to me about a little Tulsa race, they have a Mopar Show on 4 November.
I will talk with him and see what is working out.
Tulsa is a 5 hour tow from DFW.

It's been tough to get people to race this year. I got a late start due to machine work taking way too long. Now I'm out again with the bearing problems. Machine work will probably get done second week in October.

First weekend in November is Mopar's Invade at Tulsa Raceway Park. This is a hit & miss event on attendance, but always fun. I always race even if we don't have a slant six class. I'll race footbrake or Pro if I have my car together by then. Odds are good at this point. Last year I ran three classes. Foot Brake, Pro, and then Sportsman with my truck.

We have a new local Shawn that raced with us at Mokan this past spring. I'm sure he will be there. Also, the #42 is up a running again (pretty good times as well), so that makes three cars. The #86 Silver Sub rolled this past Saturday at the Nitro Nationals, so who knows if it will be ready. But that could potentially be 4 cars.

I know the organizer and she will let us have a slant only class if we want. Minimal payout and very small trophies, but whatever. We can all double enter.

Come one, come all...

Stan: I made that drive just a few weeks ago. We took the kid to Six Flags and we made a day of Buckees. It would be great if you could join us for the Mopar's in the Park.
Maybe we can get Mark and a few guys from Carthage to bring their slants.

We shall see as it get closer.
Mark is still on the mend, I don't see him shifting gears with the wagon.

I putting the trans in the Colt this week, We have the Mini Nats here in Dallas, first weekend in Oct.

Yup. Both times I was busted up I couldn't drive what I had at the time because I always drive stick shift back then.. doc told me I could drive as long as what I was driving had an automatic. The last time my wrangler sat for a year and a half because of me being hurt.

Had a beautiful day of racing! Over 200 cars there for T&T. Went 2 rds in the gamblers race which had 69 cars in it, and then decided to go .0014 red That's pretty close to a win. Anyway, the car ran great 12.76-12.87 over 5 runs. Had a bit of a head wind/cross wind all day which felt great but didn't help push us down the track.
