You all know my situation. However I'm going to plan it like I will be going. The date should give me plenty of time to get things done, and as of today I have Home health care again for my wife. So that takes some load of me. So we will see what happens.

I wish I had a reliable machine shop to use. My old one closed up. Another one I tried said my slant six head was too big to fit in their milling machine (inline chevy head sitting next to the machine). Another one messed up two sets of 198 rods. Third shop said they could salvage the rods. Had them do one set. Came back still unusable.
OH yeah, I had another shop press off a set of stock pistons from 225 rods. Told them to be carefull with the pistons and keep the pins with them as I wanted to save them. Charged me $15 each, and scrapped the pistons and pins.

PS: Peg lost her home caregiver AGAIN. Can't say as I blame them. The agencies don't pay much, and where we live most have a 45 minute commute each way. They don't get paid travel time or mileage, and they only are authorized 3 hrs a day.
