After Greg's invite to MD I hit the Googly box and checked the route. It's supposedly only an hour farther than Mokan, but almost $70 in tolls one way, and I don't think that includes the trailer.

At least by then I might have some test shots on the car, but that schedule seems like a fustercluck.

Just take I68 and avoid all those stupid tolls.

It's a bit of a reroute, but not much from your direction.

Give a call or Pm for other ideas.. :D

Dang I need to get on here more often..
Not happy about sat...somewhat of a tow to run 1 day..
Just finally got my engine back from the machine shop sunday...little push now for 1 day. I'm sure Mandi does not want to race in the other classes...
I'll have to talk with her on plans now... I have not heard from Phil, I'm guessing he is not going.
Thanks for doing all you do Rick

Yep, I'll be there both days too. Wow, sorry I have to say it is a bit lame we can only get 5 cars with how few races we have planned for this year.

See y'all soon!
Lou

I agree. Steve and I both wanted to come, but it is just not feasible to travel that far (about 900 mi, 16-18 with gas stops), and 5 nights at a Motel, and food, for just one slant six day. It's too bad we are so far from the action. We will see what happens for one or two of the other races. Knoxville is the closest for us (about 600 mi). Clay city, a little more then 750 miles.

Yep Agreed.

I did a long tow (for me ) it was over a 14-hour drive one way out to Sikeston, MO, and back in 2020.
A few more houres and I would have made it to MoKan!

Everyone must be iRacing or building LS engines for their Swap projects

I hear my iphone will give me everything I ever wanted for my life and enjoyment, but I have not really tested that out. I like the physical world much better than the virtual (to me, fake) world. Talk is cheap and easy, surfing and posting is cheap and easy, but doing things in the physical world is hard, and that's just how I like it. If I ever get into iRacing or build a cookie cutter engine, just bury me...

Lou

I think that is what happens when someone calls your flip phone while you are at the race track. They say "what are you doing , Charlie?" You say "I be racing" At least I think that is what it is! :D :D
