Racers: I received the dreaded news today that I won't be able to attend the Saturday Mopar's Invade at Mokan due to having to attend a wedding.
I will be at the Friday race for what it's worth.

I have communicated to Carl and Craig at Mokan this unfortunate information. They are still cool with whatever the group wants to do, including running a race, either 1/4 or 1/8, on Friday evening Fun Drags.

My 2024 racing season is off to a crappy start.

I suggest based on this and on Zilla's response that you do one race Friday eve (1/8th) and one race Saturday (1/4). Just a suggestion. Very sorry I cannot be there, and I'm sure you guys'll have a ball!

On my end: I'm just waiting to hear from 1-2 more people about the Knoxville Sept 21 date, and then I can lock that in with the track.

That Knoxville date looks as good as any for me. I won’t promise to be there at this point but it’s certainly my goal!

Friday August 30th will be 1/4 mile.
Saturday August 31st will be 1/8 mile.

We will handle our own purse. The track just charges admission.

I’ll put $200 in the purse.
