I'm not entirely sure about the ball-joint; but newer LCAs have provision for an anti-sway bar....

-but then weather an anti-sway bar will work with a 63 K-member is a mystery to me...

You can use your '63 lower control arms, if you like. I put '74 Duster disks on my '64, and am using my original LCA's.

Aftermarket sway bars for early A-bodies like yours are available, with various means of attachment.

Not all LCA's have provisions for the sway bar. I just saw my first A body with a swayb ar yesterday.

Sway bars were relatively rare on early a-bodies but several aftermarket options existed and still exist. They typically use some sort of bolt-on bracket in place of the factory welded-on tab. In fact, "Just Suspension" has them for $99.00. Whether they're any good or not I don't know.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

I have a 1 1/8" bar from them on my Satellite...an Addco piece. It does what its supposed to do very well! Even got poly bushings with it.

I have an Addco bar on both my 60 Val and 63 Dart and they both work great.I just ordered a $99 bar for the front of my Daughters 72 Val and it looks like a an Addco peice. You can also order Addco bars through your local Napa store in the Balkamp line but they are about a $100 more than going through Just Suspension.
