So I'm trying to disassemble these two pumps to rebuild them. The smaller one I am guessing the vanes have disintegrated. The larger one all of the seals are shot. I am looking at them, and what appears to be a locking ring of some variety, but I'll be dipped if I can get either of them off. I've tried heating them with a torch, rapping on them with a hammer, and tapping them counter-clockwise but I cannot get them loose.

Any suggestions? Please?

Yeah I saw that in the FSM and have been trying to use punches/screwdrivers to tap it out, but they ain't giving up the ghost. Was hoping someone had experience with any other method. :(

Update: been hacking away at it some more. The still operational pump I opted just to remove and replace the shaft seal, and luckily enough the tool that worked for the job the best was the 904 transmission shift selector seal tool.

As for the old DOA pump, I managed to get the spanner nut off with a different driver and some more coersion. The rotor is literally in pieces. The slippers are completely gone. Most of the slipper springs are gone or are mangled. I'll try to get a picture of the carnage tomorrow. Guessing there ain't no replacements parts for that neither -_-
