Car Model: 67 dodge charger
I have a slant 6 in my grandfathers old66 dodge w-300 truck it is not from austrailia... and yes the spark plugs go thru the valve cover and it is a slant 6.. truck has unbelievable power...can anybody tell me anything about this engine? Is it rare? Valuable? Aprox. Value?...

Something in your statement appears to be wrong. A 1966 W300 could have a 225, but most were the old A, not LA, 318. No original 1966 Dodge truck engine would have the spark plugs in the valve cover, but the 225 will have them in tubes below the valve cover.

Sorry I'm way late on this discussion but wanted to throw out a possibility. Is there a chance this truck still has the flathead 6 in it? They used them in trucks until 67 I believe. If the truck was an export model there's a good chance.

Only in the Power Wagon, not in the D/W-series trucks.
