How do I post documents? I have some stuff in Word (.doc) and in Acrobat (.pdf) that I'd like to post in response to some questions.

For Word, you can copy & paste the appropriate text into a message. That way the reader doesn't need Word to read it. For compatibility, you could also save the file in RTF format (save as), and everyone should be able to read that.

For a PDF (or other files), go down to "Upload attachment" below and attach the file.
