Thanks for the charts. Unfortunately, I can't see any way to determine what rod should go with what jet, and what car/engine/year used the particular jet/rod combination.

I might want to get those charts and post them here. Photobucket has so many ads that they were constantly blocking the view!

Chuck,

I have found that the original FSM for my 64 Dart has the specifics about the carter carbs printed in it. When you get to the fuel section, look for the carter carbs. The first page of the carter carb specifics showed what carb numbers were used with which vehicle engine/trans combos. It also specifies what main jets and step up rods are used in each application. If you can find a FSM that has main jet number and step up rod thickness in it that you want to use, maybe you can "back into" the problem using the described application they are intended for. Sorry I only have one the FSM. If I had many more years I would gladly research it for you. Good luck.
