I retro fitted a 1945 that I found at the scrap yard to my 47' Power Wagon last month. LOVE it's idle, and throttle response in the low RPM range. Happy with the carb, but have come across the the carb boiling gas upon shutdown.

Looking for suggestions. At present the intake manifold does not have exhaust heat, as it has dual exhaust. Will a sheet metal heat shield make any difference?

Where do I start getting this carb to be amazing all the time.. The Ball and Ball Carter, is good but this thing is so much better...

Thanks
Jase
