Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. Building a front sump engine and found an oil pan but no such luck on a pickup tube. Since I don't have a year/make/model of what used a front sump I cannot (I dont think) go to a dealer to see if a tube is available. I think it would have to be from a late 60's or early 70's truck or van but I'm not sure. Is there any advice on either where to buy a pickup tube or hints on how to modify/build a tube? I've a new rear and a new mid sump tubes and I can certainly get somebody to weld, if I don't think my skills are adequate. I just bought Doug's book and am waiting for it and I previously posted in the wanted section (a hundred reads, no replies). Again, thanks!
