Thx for that input Lou, My 276°/.490 PurpleShaft is still in the block, did great for about 8yrs 'til I pulled the Slanty & parked it. Are there any markings at all that would tip Us off as to production date/run?

AFAIK, the .528 was the only one that had issues.
