Norm I didn't get it. I did get one from Brian yesterday so I know it is working.

Norm check to see if you put something in the subject line. If nothing is in the subject line it will not send.

I can’t make it work so I will just ask the question here. In your previous experience running nitrous if a motor has a compression of 10to1 what would be fairly safe to run with a plate system for more power.

Hi Norm
I have run as much as 225 HP shots of nitrous on motors with more than 10:1 compression without problems, but the engine was set up for nitrous at the time. Keep in mind to spray a high hp shot it would be safer to have forged pistons with a tall top ring land and correct ring gaps. You would be surprised how much it helps with only a 25 HP shot. Maybe Dennis, Charrlie or some other guys on here that have run a lot of nitrous might chime in as well.

Ron

I sprayed a lot of bottles through mine on KB pistons at 150. We had the top rings way open though, like .032".

Biggest thing is fuel rich is just as bad as fuel lean, it just breaks different stuff. Also, don't snap the throttle shut at the stripe. I was doing that and fuel gets in behind the rings and ignites, taking off the top ring land.

As Ron said, you'll be amazed at how much even a small hit thrills you.
