Anyone know what the stock 0-60, quarter mile and top speed was for a 69 3.7 slant Valiant/Dart with a 3-speed auto? Mine is a 4-door with 2.73 gearing. I know it's not a performance vehicle, but I'm curious. I've done 100 in it and pretty sure it will hit 110. Haven't tried any 0-60 or quarter mile estimates. I'm sure they are not pretty

My son ran his stock, very high mileage, '69 Swinger 225 automatic one time. I don't recall the exact ET, but it was in the high 18's.

Yeah, right around 19 sec in the 1/4, but that could easily vary 1 sec in either direction with factory variations and tune up quality.

The first time I ran a 65 Valiant 4 door with a 170, bone stock, It ran a 22.8, but with correcting some issues, at the track, got it down to high 18's.

My 69 valiant 100 2 dr with 225/auto, 2.76 gears ran consistant 18.40's while bone stock on 13" tires. I think the MPH was around 79. I never scaled it before I did some mods. With headers added and an 8-3/4 rear installed, it weighed 2750 with a full tank of gas, spare tire and jack in the trunk. The 2 door post cars have very good weight distribution. It's better than 60/40 front to rear.
