Sweet! How much work still to go on Buzzin’?

I’d say Cookie could go up there to help, but he’s gotta start teachin’ them youngins again.

I'm going to fill it with water in the morning and put the distributor in. IF it holds water I'll try to start it Sunday, after I flush the fuel system.

Then it needs the gauges wired up, new tires and belts, then off to Patrick to get the front end aligned and the seat moved.

Then I want to get it to 41 for testing.

If I make it through that, I'll be at Clay City. If not, I'm going to No Prep Kings to spectate.

Sounds like quite a bit with the hours you’re working.

I hope you can get it all done and make it to the once in a lifetime, ultimate, never to be seen again Slant 6 Racer’s Reunion... No pressure or anything...

(Waiting patiently for Dennis’ snide comeback... )

My biggest fear in life is that if I miss this race you will unfriend me.

Silly Dennis... If I unfriended everyone who has ever let me down I'd have no friends at all...

Just make it to Clay City and we won't need to find out.

Got one step closer this morning. Fuel pump was locked up. Reversed the wires and it ran backwards. Flushed it out with a few gallons of 2 stroke mix. Stuck the distributor in too. Making a bracket for the fuel regulator, then I can put the carb on and see if this toilet runs. Filled it with water yesterday, and there were no puddles this morning.

I'm with you on that! The Challenger needs both of those things as well... Along with a bunch of other stuff...

I could probably have slid on belts since CC tech is "lenient", but I'd rather have good belts in it just in case.

Yeah, I stole the belts out of the Challenger for the Duster. I’ll get new ones for the Challenger.

Got the new tires on it today, and got my new belts. I have a little wiring to do yet, then off to Patrick for the seat move, belt install, and a toe in adjustment.

Then off to 41 to test. IF it makes it down the track a couple times I'll be at Clay City.
