I'm working on my truck so I can get to the track. My 66 Valiant is OK to go racing. If I have time I have another/better engine I would like to get done for it. Also I am doing a little work on my 65 Valiant with the turbo motor in between everything else.

I would really like to get my 65 Belvedere back on 4 wheels and under power. It has been a slow moving project for over 5 years now. Dang I sure miss drag racing.

I guess I'm a "usual gang of subjects" but I'll pipe in too.

My goal and hope this year is to get my beloved 1964 Dart 270 back on the road with the new front clip (last was RIP from the 2018 antelope hit) and maybe even add a little boost or a new induction system on it. Tons of other projects ongoing, as time allows.

Warm Slanted wishes to all,

Lou

Ryan's race car is in the shop(not mine) with the transmission tunnel cut out of it. It is being fitted with a manual transmission again. (5 speed) Aluminum flywheel, dual disc clutch and hydraulic actuation. Hopefully it will be able to move under its own power and race again by March!

I have a guy trying to sell me a 68 Dart S/Pro car. 500ci, runs mid 9s. Cousin and I have been running the numbers and if I buy it, the Valiant has to go.

I've pretty much talked us out of it. As much as I love the car and want to step up, I'm sure I'd be way over my head.

So in the meantime we will be resealing the pan in the Valiant, and maybe putting the air shifter back in, and an upgrade to 5.13 gears.

That 68 Dart is a sweet piece though.

My Dart is currently able to make short trips around town; I'm getting it sorted and hope to be able to race it sometime soon.

You can do it! You have at least 4 months! Make it happen this year!

Now that I am finally settling in one place and will have another large shop and paint booth I will be getting back into car stuff.

I have licked my wounds long enough and am ready to build ToadRacer II. I am actively looking for a replacement.

I also plan to finish the upgrades to the Challenger and make an attempt to re-set Norm’s A/Alcohol records from 2006.

There are always other projects competing for time and resources, but those are the top two and only ones worth mentioning here.
