Hello- Ive had (6) slant 6 automatics over the decades. Nearly all of them would bang- while driving slow..(like in traffic)....before switching into high gear. Esp if i have to ease off the gas for a moment in 2nd gear. Any remedy or info on this issue is greatly appreciated.
As always -The Slant 6 Forum Rocks-with the best info/advice not found anywhere else.
HAPPY MOTORING

Are you sure that it's the tranny and not the pinion snubber?

Or worse, the rear transmission mount is loose or the rubber is toast...
