I'm thinking of going to the six into one header form mopar, I'm just wondering about my intake I have a super six setup do I need to go to a water heated intake because it would eliminate the heat riser from the stock exhaust manifold. Can you run it without the heat riser from the stock exhaust manifold?

You can run the system without a heat riser, the car will just be "cold blooded". ( It will take longer to warm-up and run without bogging)

You can always route a seperate header tube up under the intake and / or use a hot air valve air cleaner set-up to reduce the warm-up time.

Doctor Doug is right. With a six in to one header when i used that setup with a supersix carb the car wanted to be about 160 to eleminate the stall other than that its off to the races. Thanks Ron

That header works very well (I have one on my 72 Demon), but the one that I got has a VERY POORLY matched flange. I had to make my own gasket because it was off so much. Just a word of caution.
Also,
I had a local shop make a 3" pipe back to a Flowmaster 53051 muffler and then used a Flowmaster 15902 tailpipe kit to get a mandrel bent 3" tailpipe. The whole system works great, and everyone things the car has a 340 because of the sound. To fit the muffler I had to cut out a small section of the floor pan at the front of the muffler well, and it's still a tight fit, but it really turns heads! Also, that muffler does resonate pretty good around 2500 rpm, a 43051 would be a lot better if you want it quieter.
