Dutra Duals into 1 pipe, or 2?

Doug,

I see that in one of the pics on your webpage is the Y-pipe that you had made up for your "Dual Dutra Duals". Would this work as good/better than two separate pipes out the back? Also, what is the reason that the rear pipe goes forward, and then back?

The "2 into 1" arrangement is just another way to set-up the pipes. The key is the "Y" pipe, the two pipes need to end at the same point to help scavenging. The rear pipe wraps forward to keep the two pipe lengths the same and allows room to get at the starter.
