pulling engine and all wiring harness out of 66' valiant. how much of the wiring can be used on a 73'dodge swinger? Is harness the same? are wheels same size? what is best way to pull engine and not tranny ,do i need to loosen tranny from mount .

The wiring will be considerably different. '73 will probably have electronig ignition, and the charging system is very different. The '66 motor will have a smaller pilot hub on the back of the crank and won't fit the '73 converter either. You can leave the trans mount bolted up to just pull the motor. Dennis

so can the motor be swapped at all w/out alterations to serious? if it cant,will that 66' motor fitinto a dodge truck 63' model ,and iof so will the tranny fit in the truck also?
