Excuse my english, i give my best...

I have 61 Valiant with some electrical problems.
When i turn the knob of the windshield wipper to "Stop", the whipper dont stop. I have to move the knop some 10° to the right, then the motor stops with the blades somwhere on the window.
When i turn the switch to right, the whipper has always the same speed.
When i turn the knob to "stop", turn ignition off and the on again, the motor won't start but fuse/breaker is always opening and closing.
On the back of the switch, i have a L-shaped connector with a black and a yellow wire and a T-shaped connector with a yellow and a red wire. All four wires are connected to the whipper motor. There is also a fuse/breaker screwed to the switch with 2 black wires and a white wire connected to it.
I have replaced the switch with a new one, but still have the same problem.
Any ideas? Maybe i have to replace the whipper motor?
Thanks, Philipp

There is another switch built into the wiper motor's gearbox, called the "park switch". When you turn the wiper switch Off, the park switch is what causes the motor to run until the wipers reach the bottom of the windshield, then stop. That is on the basic single-speed (2-wire) wiper motor. It's more complicated on a variable-speed (4-wire) wiper motor; when you turn the switch to Off, the motor runs backwards until the park switch opens the circuit.

The clicking sound of the circuit breaker and the bad behaviour of the wipers suggests you need a new wiper motor. Send me a PM; let me know if you have a 2-wire or a 4-wire motor; I think I have a new one on the shelf.
