I want to turbocharge my 225 on a low budget. I have a 1BBl carter, is it even possible to use it and pressurize it?

Welcome.

To answer it is but not practical.

There is a turbo/boost FAQ that I built that will give you a few days of reading. It will bring you up to speed quick. Just take it in steps as it gets to be a bit much after a while.

If you do decide to boost, make sure to start a thread with your build progress.
