color tune is OK,and gets you close, but a good wideband is really the best, how are you going to read the color tune while under a load and at hiway speeds?

You are absolutely correct, the color tune is an old technology but its cheap and easy for me. I found myself pulling the plugs alot less and only needed minor tuning after using it. But I'm trying to get with the times and get out of the cave. :D

Matt- your set-up is too cool LOVE the truck 8) 8) Have you put the 4bbl on yet? How about the bypass? I'm getting my grocery list together to replicate your set-up on my 68 Valiant 2dr.

I just put the 450 4 barrel on it and it pulls about 700 rpm higher than the 500 two barrel before, this is still running through the one barrel manifold. I am still perfecting the offenhauser intake and hope to test in in a day or so.

Got the intake and supercharger on, also separated the intake from the exhaust and the intake temps are down quite a bit.
Runs a lot better, right up to 4500 rpm, still wants to pull.

I would think that if the offenhauser worked better, that the Clifford would be even better yet. Am I wrong in this assumption? I'm not really sure why I think this, it just seems the larger plenum and short fat runners would really shine.

Not really sure about the clifford , but over the one barrel intake there is a pretty good difference.
