So I decided to add a little forced induction to my slant.
Loved reading tons of the other members builds, and found it extremely helpful for my build.
So hopefully this build will also be able to help others in their decision.

I started off with finding a Holset HX35 that was rebuilt for this build.
And Im using a super six intake, that for some reason took me awhile to find.

I decided to build my own exhaust flange, so its much thicker than the stock one to avoid warping that seemed to happen to the one that was on there.
Image

I then hole sawed 2.5" hole and tapped.
Image

Purchased a 2.5" J pipe, trial and error to find out what angle I needed to cut the Pipe for proper fit.
Image

Forgot to take a pic, but I cut out a piece of cardboard with a 2.5" hole cut.
Fit it over the pipe thats sticking up for the turbo side, while mounted in the car. And roughly found what was level and correct position for the turbo flange. Marked it and cut.
All said and done, this is what came out.
Image

When mounted in car, this is about where it ends up.
Image

I ended up having to cut some of the battery tray for the turbo to clear it. Depends on what I end up doing for an Intercooler or not, I may just remove battery and locate in trunk.

Next up was building the downpipe.
I wanted to go 3", so I purchased a 2.5" v-band to 3" adaptor, along with 3" pipe from local muffler shop.
I cut wedges at 10* each, for making bends, tack welded, then removed to weld up. It took tons of time to get each angle the way I wanted it. But am happy the way it turned out. It will all get heat wrapped when its all done.
Image

I decided to run an external Wastegate, so next was addd that to the piping.
I found a great site to help calculate the angle to cut and join pipe together if you dont have the proper jig laying around. worked perfect for what I needed.

Now where I'm presently at!

Next up is running the oil feed and return lines.
Was throwing around the idea, of running an oil cooler...
Worth the effort?
It would be plumbed in pre turbo.

I wouldn't bother with an oil cooler. Your fabrication skills are very good, why not add a kickout to the oil pan in order to increase oil capacity? The increased oil capacity would help in keeping the oil from getting too hot.

Good looking build,
Brian

Thanks Brian.
That's a good idea.
I was planning on adding in some baffles to help keep the oil from sloshing front and back anyways.
Would one add to it width wise? I'll have to do some searching.
Don't think I could make it much deeper, as the car is pretty low to the ground. It's running the Hotchkis suspension setup.

Yes, add to it width wise on the passenger side. Take measurements in order to clear the K member.

I had to let the pix load while I went and got the mail and walked the dog.
Im guessing about 3/4 of an hour. The first 2 times it froze up my puter...

Nice build though.

A lot of them are showing up as broken for me.

I think it is a problem with the picture host. Had the same problem on the computer at the library.

The pictures are too big...........

I cut and pasted to go directly to the image and it was something like 4000X5000 pixels and probably not a compressed file like a jpg....

That image is then downsized by the site.

So, Mopar225,

Could you link to smaller versions of the pictures that are sized correctly for a monitor and compressed (photobucket or equivalent does it automatically)

Just Uploaded photos to photobucket, and redid links.
Appears to be working on my end.
