In response to my "Morale Support" posting a few days back, I am keeping a /6 in my Challenger for sure. The two motors I have to work with are a 73 and an 82 super six out of a pickup. Any words which is a better basis to start with? Can you use the EGR type exhaust manifolds for modification for Dutra Duals? Any difference in the head? They are both manual trans motors.

Use the 73 forged crank engine.
Any exhaust manifold will work with the DDuals, the EGR stuff is mounted onto the intake only.
Go read the article on SL6 blocks & Block perp for more info. I'm sure you will have some new questions after that read.
