Hey James,
The hydro setup is way cool, and I wouldn't trade it for any mechanical linkage. I (and Matt) used Wilwood masters from Summit ($63). I used a 3/4" bore and he used a 5/8" for easier pedal. I used a 5/16" rod end bolted to a hole in the stock pedal, and attached that via a coupler nut (I had to make one in fine thread) to the pushrod that came with the MC. Mine is pretty easy to push - comparable to the old mech linkage, but needs very little pedal travel - like 3-4" total, and the engage point is about 1/3-1/2 the way down. Thanx for the PB trim panel tip. Eventually, I will custom fab a new dash and it will go away then.
I just moved to Chapel Hill 7 mo. ago, so couldn't be your buddy...
