Went to 'Mopars With Big Daddy' today and talked to the guys from AAR Fiberglass out of Cocoa FL. Asked about a glass hood for a '67-'68 Valiant. Reply was as soon as 2 months they will have available a decklid and 3 hoods (flat, cowl and six pack). The bumper's already available
(same as '69-'72). I haven't seen these available from any other fiberglass supplier.

Hey Bud, I have a 69 Valiant and will be using a 68 complete grille, (the 69 grille looks crappy). Anyhoo, I am interested in finding out how much they will be charging for the hoods and trunk lid. Do they carry bumpers and how much. Also fenders. Any info will really help, thanks.
Chas.

I like the '69 grille. It's the '70-up I don't care for too much. They told me they were going to do a trunk lid also. A freind of mine bought a '67 Barracuda hood from them, seems like it was around $200. I don't know for sure if they have fenders, but fenders are usually more trouble than they are worth. Besides, I know fenders can be had from other vendors. I plan on calling them in several months to see what they have ready.

| Cecil, I, too, am interested in a '67 Cuda hood and F/B decklid. How did your buddy like the fit, finish, and overall quality?

Bud, he bought front and rear bumpers along with a pin on hood that had the six pack scoop. I recall him saying he had to do a little work to the hood before painting. I'll see him this weekend and find out exactly how he liked the product. I do know it looks better than the one we homemade for his car 20 years ago.

Bud, he liked the fit and finish of the hood and one bumper, said they were perfect only had to scuff then shoot. The other bumper had pulled some gel-coat off when coming out of the mold. It needed a little skim coat of bondo in two places, but perfect otherwise. He also said they had a decklid for the f/b AND notchback Cuda.

| Thanks, Cecil. I'll be looking into one of the hinged hoods, I think.
