Just found this over at Moparts:
https://order.filter1.com/
• Click on ”Online Ordering and Quote System”
• Click on the “Click Here” button for “If you are already a Filter1 customer”
• Enter “moparts” for the Customer Number
• Enter “moparts” for the Password (Both are case sensitive so use lower case for both)
• Click on “Login”
• Click on “To go to the Quick Order Form, CLICK HERE.”
• Enter the WIX part number and quantity
If you aren’t sure about the part numbers there is a “WIX Catalog” link.
I spot-checked prices on some of the more costly and desirable filters, such as the #51806 oil filter with built-in standpipe (info here and here), the #51773 (like a twice-as-tall #51515, if you just gotta hold 2 quarts of oil in your filter), the #51515 (old standby regular normal oil filter), and the #51515R (racing version, whatever that means). Looks like very good pricing, including free shipping in the lower 48 states._________________ 一期一会

Sweet find SSD!
As per the wix catalog - the "R" version has increased flow capacity but particle filtration size has gone up - sounds like same filter dimensions but with material that has bigger "holes" in it.
51515 = 7-9 GPM flow, 19 Micron nominal rating
51515R = 28 GPM, 61 Micron nominal rating

I kinda figured that was what the "racing" filter was: greater flow capacity with poorer filtration, which makes sense for an all-out race engine that gets rebuilt practically every time it's time to make a new pot of coffee. That doesn't stop people thinking a "racing" filter will make their car go faster or their engine run better, but I'm not about to start that debate on Moparts! _________________ 一期一会
