Car is a little lighter, in the rotating mass department. You'll see at the track this weekend...
Did valve lash, checked timing at 28 deg total, checked plugs (even, tan), and polished valve cover last night. I am calling the motor now officially broken in - 20 drag passes and several hours of running in the garage and pits. Replaced power valve in Holley 500 with a plug and jetted up to 67s. That cured the stumble at ~2500 stall that was goofing up my lights at Wilkesboro. Put a couple of little black marks on my driveway.
See y'all at Hagerstown on Fri - Sun!

Cool,
Some good detail work there.
I am betting you got some lighter wheels and tires?
That valve cover polish will really help. I thought it was plenty shiny already!
See you on friday.

You guessed it. Just skinnies in front. Was a challenge due to the 13" brakes, so needed 17" rims. Not the lightest, but still 17 lbs per side drop compared to the 17X9s and heavy Falken tires. Weld dragstars 17X4.5 with M&H DOT skinny drag tires.
See ya shortly on the track...

Rick,
Just remove the tailgate for the weight savings! Should pick up a tenth

You can always sabotage it, though. I think Greg did that to my Project V motor...
