Well I did a sanity check and I agree that 3/4" (19.5mm) od tube is overkill.

I think a 5/8"(15.75mm) od .527" (13.38mm) id tube is a little more approprite that way I can use the same stock for the body and the injector glands, with some boring.

What is the actual od of the injector to rail o ring? I want to get at least .010" (.25mm) "crush" on the o ring to get a good seal.

What would be the the easiest/best fittings to use on the ends of the rail for fuel in and out?

Also how should the rail be held down?

I'm thinking of spoting on some sheet metal strips that could be bent at a 90 for a bolt to hold it down to the manifold.

I have a rough drawing I did in MS paint of a the rail I have in mind here .

I can make something like the rail on the link for about $200 USD.

If you want something else made pm me and I will see if I can build it.

I would also be interested in a set of fuel rails. I'll be watching this thread to see how they turn out.

Hey carlherrnstein I have a lot of factory fuel rails but of-coarse I have never found one that will work for our application on the slant six. If you need o-rings or a few injectors to test with or I could ship you a rail or two that might help with your design, let me know.

I can be reached threw my website http://www.doctorinjector.net/
were I provide fuel injector flow testing and cleaning, injector parts And injectors.
