I would like to thank everyone on here for all the help. I decided about a year ago to convert my 80 Cordoba to fuel injection. I had a basic idea on what I wanted, an odb II based on a GM or Ford system. I started to do research and collect parts and last night I hit the key and the car started and ran for the first time.
Thanks again
Rob

Congratulations! I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to know more about your setup, maybe see some pics or vids…?_________________ 一期一会

Started and ran on the first try? Lucky!
What made you chose OBDII ? Aren't those a PITA to modify/tune ? Details!

Thanks for getting back to us with an update. LIke all the others, I would like to know a bit more about the system you ended up with. Maybe make a little list of the details such as ECU used, ignition pick up used, injectors, sensors, etc?

I'm still working on a detailed list of items but here is a start
I went to the junk yard and picked up a engine compartment wireing harness from a "89 diplomat to modify, if this didn't work I wanted to be able to go back easily.
I'm using a lean burn distributer with a single pickup, a DR140 wells ignititon module, coil from a 4.3 Chevy S10 and the ECU from a 87 Fiero 2.8
I had planned on using a MAF system but could not find one so I settled for the
MAP.
the Cordoba is running at this point but not drivable. I still have several items to wire in and clean up. one being the VSS
I'll add pics when I figure out how to
