Wix or Mopar or Purolator, not Fram. If you're dropping the pan it's more than worthwhile to get the good gasket. Nice new pans with unwarped rails can be had from the dealer under p/n 52118 779AB, and they even include a spiffy magnet to catch metallic shavings. Whether or not you get a new pan, discard the floppy cork or rubber pan gasket that comes with the filter kit. Instead, from the Chrysler dealer get the really nice double-seal, reusable rigid pan gasket P/N 4295 875AC. (Note these part numbers are for A904 transmissions).

Thanks Dan.

I do already have the re-useable gasket and I did order the Wix filter.

Is there a seperate Part # for the magnet??

I need one of those but I do not need a whole kit.. as I already Have an A&A trans Deep Pan with filter extension.

Just need the magnet.

Greg

If you already have a deep pan, then I'd go onto eBay and order a neodymium magnet. They usually come in bundles of 5 for around 7 dollars shipped. You can also disassemble an old computer hard drive and get one from there.

Thanks S dale..

I did order one..

I just like the round "doughnut" magnets... cause the Pan has a dimple in it for them Smile
