vent window seals.. 2 door vs 4 door.. differences?

so of course i have a 4 door, 71 dart. all i see are seals for the 2 door.. as far as vent window seals, what/how big is the difference? can i finagle a 2 door vent window seal onto my 4 door?

The 2-door vent wing (and therefore its seal) is larger. I suppose if you are forced to, you could try cutting and gluing a 2-door seal down to size. This would be a tricky operation to get right; I think you'd have to slice some material out of each of the three sides, and you'd have to make sure you get the pivot location correct. You'd probably want to build a jig (nails in a board?). And as for a glue material, I'd probably lean towards windshield urethane, but perhaps a good(!) grade of black RTV silicone might work. I prefer the stuff Mopar sells.

i may just have to try that.. not only do they look horrible, what with the remains of years-old duct tape, rain gets in pretty badly. hmm.. off to the 'jig'ing board..
