| The car is a i965 slant six valiant that was bought in a non running condition due to engine problems. The rearend is off the car. When trying to turn the axles, they have a few degrees play, then it turn freely for aprox 120 degrees, then it tightens up for the rest of the turn.Which should i look for? Parts suppliers? Is ther a place i can send it for repair? Its a 7.25 rearend. Thanks Jorge

Look for chipped or broken spider gears.
(pull-off the rear cover and look at the gear teeth)
In general, it is best to get a replacement used assembly. Where are you located?
