this looks interesting,

http://www.robbmcperformance.com/produc ... surge.html

although I had planned on going in tank with something like this

http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ ... /cat61.htm

with either one I will need to run a return line,

thoughts on these?

The first one does look very cool and simple. Can the return line running back to the surge tank cause pressure variations in the regulated pressure to the fuel rail? Depends on how the regulator senses/references pressure.

You can also buy a whole tank outright with an in-tank pump like the one from Tanks Inc.

Are you doing port EFI on your car or truck?

Cheers,
Lou

have two projects planned for the 68 Barracuda over the next year
1) a stronger 904 than the stock one that is in there now
2) port fuel injection

I am leaning towards the in tank pump, I want to figure out if there is space to insert an access panel in the rear floor to allow replacing the in tank pump from the top, without dropping the tank,,

just an fyi. Edelbrock has a remote tank/pump like the first one you posted. Its a little bit more in price but its a kit and comes with hoses, fittings, wireing, and even a filter.
