Josh King posted on Moparts that the Southern Classic is going to be Sep. 8, 9, &10. Just a heads-up.

Thanks, Dennis!

That sounds like a nice date for that event.

Lets hope they learned from 2016. It could be a really good event.

I have heard a rumor that Josh is making it Mopar only again. He posted that last years he had over 300 Mopars alone.

From what I saw, last year, it wasn't the number of cars. It was excessive cleanup downtime, due to lack of personal and equipment. We got to the track about 9:00 am Sat. They started running cars about 12-1:00pm. About 2 am Sun morning, Rodney and Steve (driving my car) decided to split win and runner up money, as they had another cleanup to do. We will probably go back this year, if logistics work out. We'll give them a chance to learn, and make improvements.

That good to hear. We had a really good time last year. I can't really complain about anything. Yeah it was two long days and nights. I kinda liked the 3 am drag racing. :D
