Hey Stan!

That sounds like a blast! Maybe you could start up a Slant 6 race out yonder...

Will you be doing some test & tune with your Lancer wagon to get ready for MoKan? :D

Not that close yet, working hard to get done. Going to the show to meet a few texas slanters and get some motivation.

Burg-Master! How the heck are you doing? How is the family? When are you coming to Texas? Have you checked out Lancersaurus lately?

For those unfamiliar with Stan's story about his '62 Lancer wagon "Lancersaurus", here are a couple links. His build thread on FABO and the very cool Hemmings story of his car being returned after it was stolen.

I'm good! Family is doing well.
Texas is not in the cards for me, lol.
I haven't checked your thread in a while, but I'm glad to see the Lancer is coming along nicely.

Here is the back story, I met John the Burg Master years ago in VA when we were both members of the Tidewater Mopar Club. John has a Coronet Convertible that might be a life long project! LOL I bought my Shelby Dakota from John, drove it a few years and did a cosmetic restoration on it. One of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Anyway John's life long ambition is to save every unloved four door vehicle in the world! He is unable to throw anything away, has a love for Mopars and Family, but not in that order. Miss you John. Take care.

John,

Any chance we'll see you at the Hagerstown race on May 19-20?

Best,
Lou

Stan, Thanks for the kind words!
Actually, I did throw away a package tray for a Duster...
And I don't regret selling the Shelby Dakota to you, but I regret not being able to afford to buy it back!
My oldest son still has the Shelby as his computer wallpaper from when you took him for a ride after restoring it!

You are one of the people that I sincerely regret moving away from when I left for Richmond.

Hi Lou!
It's on my calendar, but the bigger question is whether I have a car to run.
(Who am I kidding...If the car IS ready, my son will be racing!)
