I'll be there running two cars, my '68 Dart and my new "Project V."
Come one, come all!

Let's see, I've got three weeks to get Eddie's rebuild done, including;
suspension - sway bar, shocks, extra leaf, rebuild front end
brakes - front disc swap, rear 10's
gear swap - 4:10's plus SG
trans - 5-spd swap
engine - super-sixed plus rewire for electronic ignition
exhaust - 2 1/2" into secret muffler with dual 2" tailpipes
misc -electric fan, alum rad, buckets, stereo, spray some paint on him so he's one color
I'd better get cracking!

I have a couple of questions; Is this in conjunction with another event, or do we have the track to ourselves?
What do we do all day between 9 and 5? Do we get to do test runs or just bench race?
What about rules? Do I have to have a helmet? Overflow bottle + factory stuff in good shape will pass tech, right?
BTW, I've been to races/shows, but never as a participant( ) so I'm sorry if I'm igernant.
Hopefully, evryone will be able to look past Eddie's paint job/bodywork (such as it is), he's a little shy.

SITH,
There is open bracket racing along with our race, and they will probably be done racing by 5. We will get time runs (probably 3-6 including open class time runs) and can run in the open classes as well during the day. I don't remember if NW requires a helmet for slow cars, but I think not. Best to bring a cycle helmet at least if you have one.
Tech is as you say. Make sure you have throttle springs, battery hold down and catch can and you're set.
Wait til you see the paint on my "Project V." There will be cars "in progress" there so don't worry about appearance.
Lou
