| What browser are you using with the mac? I'm betting the default safari 3? Try downloading the latest firefox and you will probably have better luck.

Hey Seth,
Like Pierre said, I find that Firefox works better than safari (mac's native browser) for the slant six forum.
You may already be aware of this, but If you are running a newer Mac operating system, then any text that you have typed incorrectly in the text box should be highlighted with a red line. If this is the case you are then able to right click or hold down cntrl and click on the highlighted word, and a list of possible correct spellings will appear.
as for the spell checker, you may have to update your java script program, this may or may not be causing a problem with the php coding on this website.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I use Safari (on a MacBook, Leopard OS) for this forum. I get the red underline when I mistype a word.
